Giles County, VA – The New River 500, is back; brought to you by Kairos, Tangent Outfitters, GearHead Moto Tours, Go Race, Inc., and Loud N Clear Car Stereo and Customs. The New River 500 will be held April 21 and 22 in Giles County, Virginia and encompasses over 500 kilometers of dual-sport riding. Depending on route and lunch destinations (if desired), riders can experience between 150-160 miles per day during your weekend. This event is an all-inclusive on or off-road adventurer’s dream. A multiple day opportunity to ride, socialize, and participate in on and off-road courses. Bring your bike, ATV, or UTV and experience riding through the mountains of the New River Valley. Come for the riding, stay for the fellowship, and enjoy world-class destination dining, all at the New River 500.
The New River 500 motorsport event will held at Kairos, an outdoor adventure haven located in the western part of Giles County. This property features an outdoor amphitheater, RV and tent camping sites, scenic overlooks, and over 40 miles of trails to enjoy. Established in 2016 and having opened its gates in early 2017, Kairos has prepared a venue and space that pursues not just a place but a feeling.
Weekend Pass-$125
This weekend pass includes registration to the event, access to Kairos property, trails, training and obstacle courses, bathhouses, and necessary facilities, NR500 bumper sticker, 2 days of guided and self-guided dual sport riding off road or on road, lunch and dinner on Saturday, breakfast and lunch on Sunday.
Day pass-$50
This pass is available for Saturday or Sunday only. This grants access to Kairos off-road trails, training and obstacle course, and on-road guided/self-guided routes. This pass also provides lunch for one person. This ticket does not include dinner or camping. This is a day access pass only.
Day pass-$25
This pass is available for Saturday or Sunday only. This grants access to Kairos off-road trails, ideal for ATVs or UTVs, or other riders who do not want to participate in guided or on-road activities. This ticket does not include lunch, dinner or camping. This is a day access pass only. Lunch tickets may be purchased on site.
Camping is additional $25 per night for primitive camping, or $45 per night for RV camping.
